GD02 End of Format
Meta proved to have solidified with the best decks of GD01 being the best thing to be doing in GD02. The inclusion of Rick Dias has allowed other decks to be more prominent such as RW blockers, but in kind also upgraded the best deck in the room in GW Wing. The introduction of purple saw it's usage almost exclusively as the splash color to another Blue based Amuro aggro deck.

Notes
Stall strategy utilizing early blockers to get to an inevitable endgame with Wing Gundam Zero, who's on deploy can swing the tempo back to your side. The boss monster's stats make it hard to trade into with a regular link, and its High-Maneuver allows the deck to close out the game against other defensive based decks. End of format iterations have strayed away from a focus on Ramp and instead focusing on board control with Aile Strike and other defensive cards.

The combination of Amuro and Char continues to do a phenomenal job getting through opposing defenses, while the Blue ping suite allows the deck to apply tempo while punishing the opponent for trying to interact and board control.

Notes
Purple provides the Blue based Amuro aggro decks additional ping damage to help clear out the board, while also having some heavier end game pieces via the IBO boss monsters. It does however lack the board ignoring capabilities of the OYW deck and can find itself in a situation to not be able to close out the game when it fumbles.

Notes
Athrun provides this variant of the Blue based aggro decks the ability to board control while still applying pressure. The rest of the deck leans on cheap efficient bodies to pressure the opponent early before they can get their late game plans online.

Notes
Control deck that leans on the early interaction of red ping commands and white blockers to get into the devastating end games of the Red boss monsters that can close out the game decisively and quickly. The deck can find itself outvalues in the end game however against other control decks, and a bad half of the deck being drawn can still provide a loss against aggro.
